Hyundai has introduced the 2027 Tucson, bringing a change that gives the compact SUV a more upright and tough look while also updating the inside significantly. The fifth-generation version is different from the model, which had a rounded look. Now it has a stance, sharper edges and more noticeable body parts.

At the front, the 2027 Tucson features a broader, upright design with angular headlights and prominent lighting elements extending across the vehicle. Box-shaped fender flares add to its tougher appearance, while the rear follows the same wider design theme with full-width lighting.
Inside, Hyundai has taken a more technology-focused approach. The cabin uses a horizontal dashboard layout and appears to draw inspiration from the larger Ioniq 9 electric SUV. A large central infotainment display dominates the dashboard, while the overall design uses cleaner surfaces and fewer conventional buttons.
The two-spoke steering wheel gives the interior another distinctive visual element. Hyundai has not yet released full technical specifications for the new Tucson.
However, current expectations point to the continuation of gasoline, hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains, along with front- and all-wheel-drive configurations. An XRT version focused on more rugged styling and capability is also expected, while an N-Line variant could return.
