There is a huge international promotional campaign launched by the flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, Saudia, with cuts of up to 50% in the prices of guest and business classes.
This promotion will last for a period of two weeks starting from August 20 to September 3, 2026. As per the official announcement made by the airline, this promotional pricing will be valid for the travel scheduled during the period of September 1 to December 10, 2026.
This promotion will be applicable for both one-way and return tickets departing from Saudi Arabia and connecting through the main hubs of the carrier to destinations on four different continents. No promotional code is required, with discounted rates applied directly across published sales channels.

To incentivise frequent flyers, the national airline is offering double-tier credit benefits through its loyalty ecosystem. Members of the AlFursan loyalty programme who complete bookings during this promotional period will earn 100 per cent Bonus Tier Credits on their journeys, accelerating status progression or helping maintain current membership tiers. Furthermore, eligible connecting passengers can take advantage of the carrier’s integrated digital Stopover Visa, which automatically provides an entry permit valid for up to 96 hours to perform Umrah, explore local culture, or attend seasonal events.
The promotional campaign aligns closely with Saudia’s broader commercial strategy to transform King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah into a premier global transit hub. By synchronising flight schedules into coordinated departure and arrival waves, the carrier aims to enable smoother, more efficient connections for international travellers moving between Asia, Europe, Africa, and North America.
This operational restructuring supports targets established under the national Saudi Aviation Strategy, which projects connecting passenger volume through the Kingdom to increase significantly from over 2 million toward 5.5 million by the decade’s end. Passengers travelling under the promotional rates will have full access to Saudia’s upgraded fleet offerings, including high-speed onboard Wi-Fi connectivity and enhanced digital ground services. Industry analysts note that competitive fare adjustments, paired with rapid fleet modernisation and route expansion, remain critical tools as regional carriers contend for market share across competitive long-haul transit c
