Dr. Rajeh bin Tami Al-Buqami was sworn in as ambassador to Pakistan, while Dr. Turki bin Mohammed Al-Qahtani takes up the Senegal post, additionally covering Cape Verde, Guinea and Gambia on a non-resident basis. Ghazi bin Rafi Al-Anzi was confirmed as ambassador to Syria, a posting that comes as Riyadh continues to recalibrate its ties with Damascus following years of regional upheaval.
Badr bin Saud Al-Traifi was appointed to Colombia, with added responsibility for Panama, while Aseel bint Sultan Al-Shuhail becomes ambassador to Sweden and non-resident envoy to Iceland—one of two women named in the latest diplomatic reshuffle. Abdulrahman bin Qulail Al-Khudaidi was sworn in for Belgium, also covering Luxembourg, and Ahmed Omar Al-Muhaili takes charge of the Niger mission. Rounding out the list, Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Hudaithi was appointed ambassador to Denmark, with non-resident accreditation to Lithuania.
